Recipe from: My mum. 🙂
Ingredients:
1/2 kg of pork neck meat
10 white toast bread slices (cut into small pieces)
500 ml milk
6 eggs (separate whites from yolks)
150g butter (melted)
herbs – chives, majoram
salt, pepper, grated nutmeg
Firstly, cook meat in a boiling water until cooked. Meanwhile, cut bread into small cubes and mix herbs and spices in. In a separate bowl, mix milk with egg yolks. Pour it over the bread and meat. Whip egg whites and fold it into the the mixture. Spread it onto a big tray with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for about 30 mins until golden on the top.

Notes: This is a traditional Easter thing people make in Czech Republic. I used pork shoulder meat because I couldn’t find it in the shop.
