50 g pecans
50 g walnuts
75 g flax seeds
2 tsp ground cinnamon
75 ml canola oil (I use olive oil)
200 g maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven at 150°C and prepare a tray with baking paper. Mix oats, pecans, walnuts, flax seeds and cinnamon in a large bowl. In a separate bowl mix oil, maple syrup and salt and pour into the dry ingredients. Mix well until everything is coated evenly. Spread the mixture onto the prepared tray. Bake for 30 minutes until lightly browned.

Notes: I used olive oil instead of canola oil because it is healthier option. I generally don’t put salt in granola. Sometimes I substitute half of the maple syrup with honey to make it a bit healthier and cheaper.
